We’re really looking forward to doing new cool products on our new server. And of course we’re still devoted to sharing them with you, our loyal users.

New feature available soon

Dear cool-proxy.net users,

we’re developing new features that will greatly simplify the use of cool-proxy.net for Firefox and Google Chrome users. Those features should be ready and available in next days/weeks.

We hope you’re as enthusiastic about it as we are. Of course we’ll keep you posted about it.

New Update on Http Proxy List

Dear users,
we’ve updated the way “http proxies list” is shown on our page. If you find any problems regarding the display of http proxy list, please contact us at: info@cool-proxy.net.

We hope the update will make surfing experience for Internet Explorer users much better.

How do I use a WEB proxy server

Click on the link will take you to the web proxy server page.

Find the input field and enter URL you want to visit (for example: www.google.com) and press Go.

It’s that simple. Google should load and you can start surfing.

Http vs Web proxy server list

As you’ve noticed, there are 2 types of lists on Cool-proxy.net:

  1. HTTP proxy server list: which has IP:PORT proxy servers.

    1. They are the “native” proxy servers, but they’re
    2. a slightly bit harder to configure. Then again
    3. you have to configure your browser just once to use them, so YAY for them!
  2. WEB proxy server list: with URL addresses of web proxy servers

    1. These are soooo simple to use. Just click on the link in your browser and
    2. Enter the URL you want to visit and you’re there, but
    3. (yes, there’s alway a but) they are not totally “standard” so some pages might not look completely right with them

Which ones are you going to use? The best thing is that cool-proxy.net provides lists for BOTH types. Cheers for us 🙂

Why do I need a proxy server

The three main reasons to use a proxy servers are:

  1. Unrestricted surfing: unblock your internet from school, work or other place
  2. Anonymity: you don’t want the webpages to know your true identity and track you
  3. Speed: using a proxy server might speed up your internet in some cases

Do you find yourself in any of them?

What is a proxy server

Your most basic question might be: what is a proxy server?

Simply put: a proxy server is a computer that is between your computer and the internet. All your internet traffic goes through this proxy server.

Surf internet through a proxy server

Of course, you might not want anyone between you and the internet, but there are occasions when you really need this intermediary server between you and the internet.
